I think the GB noted that in South Korea earlier this month, that the authorities went after the leaders of the religious group who continued to meet during the corona crisis over there. The leaders were held accountable, not the regular worshippers. Amongst other things, they were accused of murder for allowing the virus to spread.

Who `d a Thought The GB would Listen to the United Nations And Stop Witnessing for Jehovah.?
by smiddy3 in"we must obey god rather than men" act.5:29 has sure been discarded now and the gb are obeying the united nations world health organization and shutting down all of their "witnessing" operations ,very effectively i might add.. instead of boldly proclaiming the kingdom message as they used to blow there own trumpet about obeying god rather than men they are now more in fear of what the superior authorities will do to them if they don`t obey them.. this is something nobody banked on ever happening least of all the governing body of jehovah`s witnesses that the preaching work would come to a standstill .. of course they will put a spin on it ,that there protecting the health and well being of their members and the public.. but the fact remains they are not trusting in jehovah to protect their members nor are they trusting in jehovah to keep the "worldwide preaching work" going.. what do you think ?.

About the Memorial and Unleavened Bread Thing..

not good for symbolising whatever it's supposed to symbolise, obviously.. so my beloved missus, who i believe is possibly the best cook in the world (although i do have a soft spot for chef nigella lawson with those magnificent knockers and all) is an absolute ace at baking sourdough bread.. and yes, sourdough bread - especially when toasted - is absolutely yummy.

I do bake my own bread and have made the starter for sourdough, it lives a long time. In my village we give names to our sourdough culture, mine was Elsie but I cruelly let her die a year ago.
There is yeast in sourdough, it comes right out of the air -- it is bigger than bacteria and smaller than plants in a biological kingdom of its own. With flour It creates alcohol and lactic acid which mixing with other harmless bacteria it imparts the particular taste to the bread and CO2 bubbles to cause it to rise.

What SHOULD have woken you up ?
by Phizzy infor myself, there is an embarrassingly long list of things that really should really have woken me up, fully.
it was a long process for me, as a mind controlled born in, things i simply did not agree with, or knew were downright wrong, that built and built, and, eventually i woke up, after 58 bloody years in !.
but just mainly for fun, what should have woken you up ?.

When I was young, an old lady from some creepy religious cult used to come knocking at my door. I noticed that she must have always powdered her face with her specs on. I never listened to her message, in fact I recoiled at the woman's visits.
A bit later I had unwittingly become "a study" at my JW friend's house as I liked to argue and find out about things. Then I went to the meeting and who was present; the little old cult lady.
I should have woken up there and then before I got any deeper.
As it happens the old lady was quite a sweet, well meaning but truly obsessive pioneer. A few years later she was put permanently into a home for the mentally ill.

All JWs have been happily immunised against common sense. Therefore just as the time right after one of the many failed prophecies, so it will be at the end of the corona virus pandemic. In fact they will declare it was due to Jarhoover's loving patience that he spared mankind so more people can hear the Watchtower message.....vomit.

apparently, listening to or watching the talk is the thing that counts.. "do this in rememberence of me" apparently means watching tony morris on your phone give a talk.. this begs the question... "what's the point?

Recommending home memorial tasting could be a boost for the anointed numbers. What's the point of having food and wine in your own home and not eating and drinking it?
It would get more people happily into the anointed habit. The more partakers, the less authority the GB have because it doesn't fit with their prevailing teachings.

Finding vaccines for deadly viruses is a more honourable pursuit for which you need proper learning and evidence for what you are dealing with -- not old wives tales as found in the Bible.
